dance music producer ?
im 28 just been practising producing happy hardcore music over a year finally got a tune im happy with (well nearly ) does anyone think i could make it into the scene by the time im 30 or is it too late ?
Hey im Jon, im 15 and i work for the ministry of Sound as a DJ, and Music Producer. Look no matter what age, u can get into it. look at the best dj, tiesto is 37 and still is pumping the tunes. don’t wait. just email your tunes to some big names, email a record company and ask what they think of your song. feedback helps. also try and promote it, make a myspace. make some cd’s and find a local music store which would be able to sell your music. ( they’ll need a cut of the money though). word of mouth is a great one. try and give it to ur friends, friends friends, ect ect. and soon it’ll be buzzing. give the song to some DJ’s around ur city/town.
Promotion is mainly the biggest key. but your not too old. never
