Can someone tell the name of a song?
The song is 4/4 timing and goes like this:
ABCD
E E E A F EDC
D D D G E DCB
ABC A D C B
Where – refers to an extension of the previous note by a quarter beat and notes next to each other refer to semiquavers.
That’s the main leitmotif of the song, which is mainly played by violins I think.
Heard it a few times, it seems to be some sort of soothing classical, neoclassical, or new age music. Seen people dancing ballet on ice to it so it could be a piece for ballet.
The chorus of the song at this link: “http://www.nme.com/video/id/_AU70bcefdA/search/xiangting” is based on this song I’m trying to find, with exactly the same notes on the main beats and the same chord progressions.
Anyone has any idea? Thanks!
This song is, as far as I know, called “In the Still of the Night.”
