I think I’m down with the bloggers’ blues. I just started blogging this Thanksgiving and only got one follower and about 150 views. I’m a bit disappointed since lately I’m not getting as many views as I’ve been getting. My blog is meant to be super eclectic and quirky because I want it to have a casual vibe, as casual as any topic discussed in a cafe or coffee house. My blog goes from music to fashion to art to food to trinkets to observations of society and the 21st century human being. I aim to provide a warm, friendly feel to my blog through sharing thoughts and pointing out cool little “anythings”. I’d really appreciate it if you would actually look through my posts, content, writing and tell me what I’m doing wrong and what I’m doing right. I want constructive criticism cause I’m tired of feeling discouraged about doing what I love to do- write. Thank you!
Any ideas on how I can improve and gain a following will be greatly appreciated!
I have very same experience and feeling when i first started blogging in May 2010.
This is my blog by the way>>> http://www.jackdi.com . I also wanted my pageviews to increase right away.
But then, i realized that this can never be achieved overnight.
Blogging might be easy for others. But for me, it actually entails hard work also.
Just keep blogging. And let people know that you are blogging.
Slowly, your blog stats will increase.
