parents are surprised their 20 yr old daughter came home at 2 am?
last night my parents freaked the hell out when i came home at 2 am on a monday. yes i do regret coming home so late but we were all at my friends house hanging out on her deck listening to music and talking.
my mom even cried. i cant take how theyre so strict. its so annoying. i cant take it. ive been waiting for this job to come through for me so right now i have no job so i cant move out. but im getting real tired of this.
now today my friend is having a get together and idk if i should just go out again. idk how they will react to this cause last night was a complete sh.it fest. should i still do it…so they can get it that im 20 on vacation always had good grades neevr came home drunk or high and that i can go out dring the week!?
I totally understand where your coming from, maybe suggest to them a rough time you’ll be home and then call if u will be late-it’s about ur parents acknowledging ur grown up but also they will still look out for u whatever. and talking to them about ur concerns may help u to compromise-ask them for the opportunity to gain their trust eh not coming home drunk etc and see how u go.
