COMPUTING ON THE MOVE
Effectively i’m off on my holidays,this time overseas,the great ole USA,however i nonetheless should be “on-line” every day for my personal & business needs, so i’ve brought some light-weight products ,that don’t take a lot room and are simply transportable
1, THE COMPUTER
Well the very first thing is the computer ,shall i take my old compaq armarda M700 ,which has been usefull up to now or shall i put money into a new one , right here we go scouting around the retailers or should i say online ,there’s so many decisions from, this pocket book to that notebook with this spec’ to that spec’geez my holiday will likely be over earlier than i select one at this charge .In the end i have made my alternative on measurement ,purely for travelings sake ,i went for for a Packard Bell XS200-06,appears a pretty sensible choice to me, it has a inbuilt web cam ,microphone ,ofcourse speakers,bluetooth ,wifi , hey its the business,so long as you’ve keen eye sight, because the screens a bit small, its ideally suited for me.only weighs a few kilo’s, so i thinK i’ve made a very good choice.
2, MUSIC
Now i am not into music in a big manner just some songs,so i won’t be taking too much in that regards ,lower out the cd’s, so i have brought myself a mp3/dab radio .my other transportable radio packed up so this one will do jobs.As i’m driving over 2000 miles i want some entertianment to keep me entertained,and my experiences previously of radio stations in america have not been good i can record off the web my favourite english station and download onto my new Alba mp3 participant,and thro’ a simple system can get it playing thro’ the car stereo system..im ready to go now .
3, ATTACHMENTS & ACCESSORIES
So what do i need on this space,i favor a handheld mouse moderately than the inbuilt contact pad ,i will be taking my phone so i need my charger,head set perhaps ,external mic so i can be in contact with “again home” at a reduction charge,carry case, Now shopping for these bits indiviually may cost a few kilos , however wait i’ve discovered one thing cool, the local supermarket is selling computers & equipment this week, lets see what they’ve got…I am in luck an adjunct pack for £14.ninety nine WOW,what a deal. Now i ain’t heard that a lot about Tevion products but anything i’ve brought from there appear good quality, and for that small quantity i’m ready to take an opportunity ,so what do we’ve got?
1, USB KEYPAD…………….not a lot use ,however i could make the space usefull for something else
2, USB HUB 4-WAY………….nice because the laptop computer has only 2 usb sockets this might turn out to be useful
3, USB CABLE……………..okay if i need a little bit of extension i guess
4. EARPIECE with MIC………great,small compact and will definatly come in handy
5, NETWORK CABLE …………okay this may be usefull at a few of the motels i stay at
6, USB MINI OPTICAL MOUSE….improbable will be extreemly usefull
7, MINI USB ADAPTOR……….saves me taking the mp3 cable ..great
eight, USB PIN ADAPTOR………..may be helpful in some unspecified time in the future
9, USB LIGHT……………..i’ve found these out to be ineffective previously ,but you never know
and all wrapped up in a smart 6″ x 2″ zip up case what a GREAT deal
So there we’re i’m ready to go i bought my electronics, my ticket the faithfull credit card next stop AMERICA
