Does anyone listen to Beethoven or any other composers like him?
My uncle turned me onto Beethoven a few months ago because I was playing what he calls “junk”. He played Moonlight Sonata & Fur Elise, I’ve heard the songs before but this day for some reason I just fell in love with it. I like to listen to music while I study but it’s a little hard to study while listening to Hip-Hop, Rap(even R&B for some reason), but when I listen to Beethoven I’m more focused & into what I’m studying(I don’t only listen to him when I’m studying though) Does anyone know of other composers I can listen to???(I also know about Mozart)
I heard that listening to classical music makes you smarter is that true or just a myth?
In addition to Beethoven you should explore the music of Haydn and then move on to some of those that followed Beethoven – Franz Schubert, Felix Mendelssohn, von Weber, Rossini, and Chopin.
