Disco Dance Music Collections

disco dance music collections
How to -MOST APPROPRIATELY- classify my music collections (whole artist/albums) by genre?

Any suggestions about guides/sites with which I could determine to which genres to arrange my music into?

Rock, hard rock, pop, vocal pop, soul, R&B, opera, classical, instrumental, new age, house, chill out, disco, dance, trance, Bjork (what in the world is the appropriate genre for her music), and much more — what is the most appropriate one for my artist/album collections?

The classification does not have to be politically correct. Simply appropriate will do.

Thank you. :-)

for me the best source is http://www.discogs.com/
it is probably the biggest music database on the internet and there you can find songs’ genres and styles. of course, it is not always very precise, because info is submitted by users like us.
