What’s with the explosion of Dance music in the US?
How did it get so popular on mainstream radio in 2010? It was always underground in the US.
the problem is that dance music here in the u.s. is nothing like dance music in europe or in south america. eurodance music in those places is the true dance music and the u.s. simply americanized it to make more acceptable since classic eurodance never was accepted here.

Sesame Street – Sing Along [VHS] $9.98 Kids will enjoy this half-hour Sesame Street video, in which the whole gang takes a piano up to the roof and sings some of their favorite songs. But they are frequently interrupted by workmen Biff and Sully, who keep tuning in songs on their TV (only to knock the antenna out of whack). The blend of people and puppets is charming, and the bits culled from the TV show add to the fun. A pair of highl… |

Burlesque $7.50 There is, according to Burlesque, a nightclub on the Sunset Strip that looks like a blend of Cabaret and Moulin Rouge and employs a full contingent of dancers and musicians in the service of a neo-retro-burlesque-blues program. Presiding over the craziness within is Tess, a grande dame who also performs occasionally and who could only, under these circumstances, be played by Cher. Entering the sce… |

Alice in Wonderland $6.75 Tim Burton was born to bring Alice in Wonderland to the big screen. Ironically, his version of the Victorian text plays more like The Wizard of Oz than a Lewis Carroll adaptation. On the day of her engagement party, the 19-year-old Alice (a nicely understated Mia Wasikowska) is lead by a white-gloved rabbit to an alternate reality that looks strangely familiar–she’s been dreaming about it since s… |
