Night Life In Louisville, KY?
I recently moved to Louisville, KY and have gone to a few night clubs. But the ones I have been to Tengo Sed Cantina on 4th Street has a DJ that plays what I would consider “dated” music, but a lively crowd and offers pretty good drinks. I have also been to The Pheonix Tavern which has a pretty good DJ,but was only busy on Wednesday and not very many people on the weekend with more people standing around then actually dancing and horrible over priced drinks. And the problem I have with both is the crowd isn’t very mixed. I am looking for a night club that plays a mixture of hip/hop, R&B, Pop that is mainly up to date, that also offers a large crowd with a mix of different ages and races, if anyone out there has any suggestions I would really appreciate it.
One of my favorite places to go is Sully’s Saloon at 4th Street Live. Great music, and there is always a really good crowd on Friday and Saturday nights. If you can find someone with a Happy Hour there, you can get drinks for $2 from 9-11, you can also call and have one set up yourself.
