why are “raves” vilified?
not discussion forums or rants…the music dance scene rave.
I love raves, and I don’t take drugs, but if anything I’d say the reason for all the problems came from the amount of drugs available at most raves. A lot of the rave culture, though not all, find it socially acceptable to do drugs and/or that taking drugs is part of the rave way, so there is probably a fair bit of peer-pressure with things. I honestly see no point in taking drugs at a rave, because I’m not there for some artificial feeling, I’m there for the music. And besides that, I get a natural euphoria from the beat anyway, so I don’t need drugs to feel good. Either way, conservative peoples are always going to pinpoint one small aspect of something and try to exploit it to get their way. It’s how they work, and that’ll never change.
